| With the airing of the coveted Mandalorian episode of the Clone Wars, I suggest that we post what we liked and what we didn't. First, a recap: - Spoiler:
The story begins with Obi-wan landing on "Mandalore", or Kalevala. He is greeted by a guard, and is taken to Duchess Satine. They talk about the reason Kenobi came to Mandalore, the rumors that Satine was amassing an army and joining the Separatists. They decide to take a walk through the "park", and discuss the Death Watch.
Meanwhile, a Mandalorian figure talks to a form via holoplatform. The form, Count Dooku, discusses the plans for the expansion of the Death Watch.
On Kalevala, a bomb explodes. Once the dust clears, Satine notices a hologram of the rugged logo of the Death Watch. Kenobi decides to interrogate everyone there, and orders them to stay at the scene. A man breaks from the main group, and runs under a bridge. He gets caught at a railing, and turns. Kenobi steps toward him, but he draws a blaster and fires several times. Kenobi deflects several of the bolts, and one knocks the gun out of the man's hand. He turns, and realizes only one way out: off the railing. He stands up onto the rail, shouts phrases in Concordian, the language of the moon of Kalevala, Concordia, and proceeds to jump off, landing on a glass walkway about 20-30 feet below. Obi-wan and Satine run to the man, and Satine translates the man's, the culprit of the bombing, last words, and then watches as he dies.
Obi-wan decides to take a visit to Concordia. Satine tags along as his escort, and they take off. On Concordia, they visit the domicile of Pre Vizsla, the governor of Concordia. They decide to discuss the matter over dinner, but Obi-wan takes a visit to one of the mining colonies. He enters the factory after a speeder ride, and notices that the place isn't inactive. He spies jetpacks, vests with armor plates, and helmets lined on an assembly line, and picks one of the helmets up. He turns, only to deflect a blaster bolt with the helmet. A Mandalorian figure begins dueling with Kenobi, and another Mandalorian joins him. The two dislocate Obi-wan's shoulder, and beat up on him.
Several hours later, Obi-wan wakes up, upside down, in a force-field. He is on the conveyor belt, ready to be destroyed. Satine escapes dinner, and makes her way toward and into the factory, ready to set Obi-wan free. She proceeds to, and they escape, under fire from the Mandalorians, led by Pre Vizsla, clad in his own Mandalorian armor. they escape onto a landing pad, and Vizsla confronts Obi-wan, after he takes potshots at the other Mandalorians, killing three. Vizsla tosses Obi-wan his lightsaber, and takes out a darksaber, an ancient invention stolen from the Jedi Temple by Vizsla's ancestors. They duel, and Vizsla orders his three minions to "finish him". They launch their jetpack rockets, and Obi-wan dodges each, Matrix-style. He looks, and the three rockets curl back, headed for Kenobi. He dashes toward the Duchess, picks her up, and jumps into an elevator shaft. The rockets explode, and the two escape.
On Kalevala, Kenobi and Satine discuss Satine's involvement in the war, and Satine storms off. Anakin steps forward, and the two talk, ending the episode.

| I haven't seen it (I'll probably catch it when they post it on Star Wars dot com), but I bet it was fun seeing the Kyr'tsad beating the osik out of a Jedi's shebse. I'm not so mad at LucasArts anymore. I've finally seen a canonical representation of a Mandalorian wielding a Lightsaber (that wasn't overridden by Lucas). | |

| No hostile feelings, but a little bit doesn't account for the entire show. What part did you see? | |

| I do not approve. Especially with the confirmation that the New Mandalorians aren't based on Kalevala, but Manda'yaim. I did enjoy seeing the Kyr'tsad Ori'ramikade kicking jetii shebse, but overall the episode had very few redeeming qualities IMO.

| I really enjoyed it. I loved seeing the mandalorians on tv for the first time! (at least I think it is the first time) Any episode that stars Obi Wan is pure WIN.
